The Arkansas Autism Waiver is a Medicaid-funded program offering early intervention services for young children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Its goal is simple: give children intensive, evidence-based support during the years when it makes the biggest difference โ and support their families along the way.
Through the waiver, eligible children receive 20 hours per week of early, evidence-based ABA intervention, delivered by a team of professionals and paraprofessionals in the home and community.

To be eligible for the Arkansas Autism Waiver, a child must meet all of the following:
Between 18 months and 7 years old โ and must enroll by their 5th birthday.
A confirmed Autism Spectrum Disorder diagnosis from at least two licensed professionals.
The child must be a resident of the state of Arkansas.
The child must meet Medicaid financial eligibility criteria.
The child must require an Intermediate Care Facility for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities (ICF/IID) level of care.
